DANGER MAN - John Storm is not a trained marine biologist, but is instinctively in tune with the underwater kingdom
Captain Nemo is the name of the AI navigation autopilot fitted on the Elizabeth Swann. The artificially intelligent system was named after the character in 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, by Jules Verne.
The system works with 'Hal,' another computer system onboard the Swann, that has a very advanced Artificial Intelligence level, to supplement Captain Nemo, and help the crew of the ship perform better, plan ahead in terms of strategy and run the other onboard systems, such as the solar energy harvesting system.
Captain Nemo is capable of navigating safely in compliance with COLREGs, including identifying other boats and ships, for avoidance purposes Such as not to confuse vessels with other objects or land masses.
Thought to be the world's most advanced system, that when super-charged with the CyberCore™ nano-computer, makes the Elizabeth a truly worthy adversary to pirates, terrorists, and military around the world.
Taken together, Captain Nemo and Hal, it is as if the Elizabeth Swann has two very vigilant additional crew members.
